I was born in Milan in 1954.

Passion for design is a family tradition: my father Arnando in 1930 opened his first workshop in Milan of accessories for fashion design, helping to spread the excellence of Made in Italy for more than half a century.

I grew up in Milan of the 60's: the extraordinary years of the Beatles, the colored plastic, the fluorescent lights and the birth of "pop art" and the "prêt-à-porter". Those were the years in which the design, fashion and architecture in Milan expressed freedom and unconventionality.

In this charged atmosphere of creativity, in 1973 I decided that my path would to be "architect" and I enrolled in the Faculty of Architecture in Politecnico di Milano, in which I graduated "cum laude" in 1978 year.

In the same year, in the wake of the radical period of Italian design, I participated to founding “Studiodada". Our work done in it has been rewarded by the "Triennale" of Milan, the "Design Center" of Stuttgart, and the "Design Center" of Kortrijk in Belgium.

In 1979 together with my partners in "Studiodada" we founded “Tecnodada Srl", a company well known worldwide for projects related to design, supplies and services for the architecture  and then, in 1987 we created "IDA - International Design Agency" , the first data base linking industrial production in the field of interior design and supplies.

During over 35 years in the business, I gained specific and significant international experience, coordinating and executing architecture and interior design projects all over the world.

In 2001 together with Daniele Fridelfi we founded "Arte Consultants" , with the aim of managing and coordinating architectural and design projects in the international field. The company works supporting all the activities related to my projects.

"The essence of the building is to dwell" (Martin Heidegger), that's why the feasibility of a project is always accompanied by in-depth study of the real needs to carry out works that meet customer expectations and, at the same time, ensuring the sustainability, reliability and safety over time.

In a complex world like the one we live in, even the architectural design must follow a philosophy that has to be in line with the actual times. Above all, it must be able to meet the needs of increasingly demanding and knowledgeable customers.

It is important to give a noble and profound creative activity significance in order to arouse the enthusiasm, commitment, passion, respect and trust needed to carry out wishes. The philosophy that has always driven my strategy is customer-oriented, and has as its sole objective create the comfort experience through everyday confidence building.

To get these results I think it is important to believe in values ​​such as respect for human needs and the environment, determination, competitiveness, winning spirit, innovation, cooperation with customers and suppliers, capacity for renewal, constant readiness to assist the customer.

These conditions are necessary to ensure and create a strong and distinctive culture, "the culture of excellence."

In fact, the world has changed from Phidias until the present days, but there is one thing that has not changed over the millennia: the dedication that excellence requires to do this job, now part of our genetic heritage by consolidated decades of experience in the field.
